She is currently the president of Futuro Sólido USA, a Spanish-language agency emphasizing bridging cultural as well as language barriers. Designed as a resource for companies that either hire or sell to Spanish speakers, Futuro Sólido has served the insurance industry for over seven years.


Melissa has presented extensively on strategies to address Spanish speakers' resistance to employer-sponsored benefits. She has done numerous presentations and radio and television appearances, and her articles on issues relating to the Spanish-speaking workforce have appeared in several publications.
