According to the American Society for Training and Development, over $30 billion was spent in 2006 on "technologically-mediated training." This is about 25% of all the funds spent on training in the United States that year. Is this large expenditure actually improving performance? How is distance training evaluated by executives who make these important budgeting decisions?
This audio conference presents the results of a two-year study on evaluating distance training. Attendees gain valuable insight into the various styles and tools used by leading executives to evaluate distance training programs - insight and best practices they can in turn use to evaluate the effectiveness of their own programs.
This audio conference covers:
- Three different styles of executive decision making
- How organizations are using distance training to solve their performance improvement challenges
- Tools organizations can use to judge the effectiveness of distance training
- The spectrum of standards executives use to judge the effectiveness of distance training
- Compare the processes participants use to evaluate distance training with the processes used by the study participants
