About the speaker:
Federico Fische is an economist with over 30 years of combined experience as an international trade negotiator, a consultant on renewable energy and sustainable development, and a renewable energy entrepreneur. As a practitioner and entrepreneur, his expertise is centered on the identification of opportunities and development of energy projects, appraisal of economic and financial feasibility of renewable energy projects and start-up companies, and life-cycle assessments of technologies and concept solutions as they pertain to a particular project or need. He also developed and ran the sustainable development practice for a small consulting firm for ten years, primarily working on sustainability issues for public and private sector clients, socio-environmental assessments, policy and regulatory design for protected areas, and researching the linkages between poverty, energy and the environment.
